Shubble Shuttles are safe. They’re also happy bubbles of reliable joy.
Designed with u18s and other security conscious family members in mind- they are life-savers and life-changers all at once. Because while our precious kidlets and t(w)eens think they’re in charge, “doing life” their way and bouncing around town under their own independent steam, we’re actually holding their hands in a cocoon of monitored safety all the way.
Kids know that Shubble is the hippest way to get themselves from this friend, to that market, to school and back again- and parents know that while we might look like ‘just a pretty taxi’ on the outside, we’re as good- if not better- as mom’s car on the inside. And here’s why:
Pro drivers
Our Shubblers have been meticulously vetted, are highly experienced, hold a valid PDP, a clean criminal record, and have experience with caring for kids. They're also branded, and will ''meet and greet" when they pick up, and handover when they drop off. They are you and me when we can't be there.
Shiny new cars
All Shubble Shuttles are brand-spanking-new Toyota Starlets. They're owned, maintained and checked daily by us.
Spunky art cars
Shubble cars are "art-cars"- designed to look cool and funky to the discerning t(w)eenage eye, but also so that no other car with ill-intent can ever pretend to be a Shubble. You’ll know when your Shubble has arrived, and our kids will instantly feel safe. They'll also love the look of our playful bubbles of happiness.

Every Shubble trip is recorded via in-cab camera, which means that our control room is watching, always
Safety first
A Shubble car is tracked in real-time with the world's most advanced tracking tech. Shubble engines are switched off if the car leaves its designated area. They're also governed for speed and monitored for hard-braking or erratic driving- in which case we disable the car and send another.

The Shubble story
We’re Daniella and Neels Louw, mom and dad to Lexi and Max. Although they happily consume most of our waking hours, we also have a life- which tends to coincide with when they need to be in a million places at once! We- probably like you- would never dream of putting our kids into one of the more commercialised on-demand taxi services. And so our idea was born- we needed to create an “uber-cool” business which WE would trust for our own kids before we could expect others to trust us with theirs. And our kids needed to love it and trust it too.
That’s why every aspect of Shubble has been scrutinised by a mom, a dad, a teen and a tween who have a similar problem to you… We need a reliable and incredibly safe yet fun service which delivers happy and relaxed children- whenever, wherever.
And so Shubble was born in Somerset West in November 2021 with our first 3 cars. Once we know for sure that we’re onto something that parents – and kids – can’t do without- we’ll expand to other regions and areas. But until then- we’re getting the recipe just right on our own, beautiful doorstep.

Neels' background is in security and logistics. He also owned a transport and personal protection business for VIPs for many years. Today, our kids are his VVIPs!

Sedick is 45, and has been driving professionally for over 21 years! Sedick overflows with passion for his job, and when he isn’t Shubbling our kids around town, he’s spending time with 4 of his own! Sedick is married and is most proud of his home and family.

This is Fawaaz.
Fawaaz is 31 and father to 7 children! His absolute pride and joy are his kids- and when he isn’t being a professional driver for Shubble, he’s fixing up and reselling classic cars. Born and bred in the Strand- Fawaaz is a family man and has a passion for the Cape and all it has to offer.
